In this issue, Dinesh Shetty et al. review electrode materials for the desalination of water via capacitive deionization, and Xiaoyuan Chen et al. summarize research on ferroptosis detection and its application. The Minireviews deal with the development of diazoalkenes from an elusive intermediate to a stable substance class (Max M. Hansmann) as well as low-affinity binders for optical microscopy (Lorenzo Albertazzi, Mike Heilemann).

In the original research section, Daniel Huster et al. analyzed the dynamics of the human growth hormone secretagogue receptor. Xinliang Feng et al. present a thiophene backbone that enables the generation of two-dimensional poly(arylene vinylene)s with high charge carrier mobility. Uttam K. Tambar et al. succeeded in copper-catalyzed regiodivergent internal allylic akylations. Peter Vöhringer et al. observed the initial events of a titanium-based photoredox catalytic cycle in real time by fluorescence and IR spectroscopies (see picture).
